Recent FASTECH Hydrogen Projects

FuelCell Energy Tri-Generation Plant:
Long Beach, California

FASTECH partnered with Shell to build an HDV Hydrogen Refueling station in Long Beach that supplies hydrogen fuel to the Toyota Logistics Services property on-site. The station will soon receive hydrogen directly from the adjacent FuelCell Energy Tri-Generation Plant, currently being built by FASTECH.

The connection between the Long Beach HDV site and the new FuelCell Energy plant is a breakthrough for hydrogen supply logistics. By creating a steady hydrogen supply from an on-site generation facility, truck-supplied hydrogen needs are significantly reduced or eliminated, station uptime is increased, and a reliable hydrogen source is made available for customers.

Servco Green Hydrogen Refueling Station: Honolulu, Hawaii

FASTECH constructed the first publicly accessible green hydrogen refueling station in Hawaii to power Servco’s fleet of Toyota Mirai passenger vehicles.

As Hawaii has no natural energy resources, this will give the state a safe, renewable energy source. Servco hopes that making hydrogen available to power passenger cars will eventually spur sales of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) on other Hawaiian Islands.

Iwatani Hydrogen Refueling Station: Corona, California

FASTECH built the initial six hydrogen refueling stations of ICA’s first hydrogen refueling station program in North America.

The Corona station will expand Iwatani’s hydrogen refueling network into busy Riverside County, adding a critical refueling point for Inland Empire fuel cell vehicle commuters.
